28th October 2008 - Intermediary only insurer, MMA Insurance plc (MMA), has today announced the launch of a further two products with full cycle functionality on the Company’s successful extranet, Broker Online.

MMA’s Shops and Motor Breakdown products can now be transacted for new business, adjustments and renewals online with real time access to the live MMA system. Broker Online will enable intermediaries to access past and current MMA Shops policy information, even if the original business was placed manually. Full policy documentation is also available to download through Broker online in secure pdf format.

Commenting on the launch, John Seaton, Underwriting Director, MMA Insurance, said: “The feedback we receive from our intermediaries is that Broker Online is quick and simple to use. As its popularity grows, we are committed to improving product functionality by ensuring our intermediaries have access to a wider range of products on a full cycle basis."

Earlier this year, the Company announced the launch of full cycle functionality for the Master Tradesman Plus small contractor’s liability product. MMA will continue to introduce full cycle products through Broker Online over the next 12 months.

The Company’s Shops policy is designed for the majority of retailers, including restaurants, cafes and public houses, with cover automatically provided for goods in transit, replacement locks and theft damage to premises.

MMA Motor Breakdown provides a comprehensive breakdown service via RAC, a motor and vehicle service specialist. Cover options range from roadside and recovery through to roadside and recovery at Home and in Europe.
